BRIEFINGS FOR JOHANNESBURG WSSD
For the World Summit on Sustainable Development now going on in
Johannesburg, TWN has produced several briefing papers highlighting
some of the key issues that will be discussed at the Summit.
These issues range from the economic (N-S relations, debt, ODA,
WTO, commodities, IPRs), to the social (health) and environment
(biotech, biodiversity, water).

- WSSD
(Rio+10): Trade, finance issues now at centre on troubled process
TWN special report on how trade, debt and finance issues are
now at the centre stage of the WSSD. Deep North-South disagreements
on these topics led to the deadlock in the Bali talks in June. NGOs
working on trade and debt should now pay close attention to WSSD.
