Info Service on WTO and Trade Issues (Apr22/10) Dear friends, Multiple issue areas with systemic implications for the multilateral trading system and for developing and least-developed countries collectively are currently under consideration at the World Trade Organization ahead of the WTO’s 12th Ministerial Conference (MC12). A new Third World Network briefing paper reviews the dynamics pertaining to some of the major issues, primarily the WTO response to the pandemic, fisheries subsidies, agriculture, and WTO reforms. Issues pertaining to the so-called joint statement initiatives are also highlighted. Read this paper, “Looking towards WTO MC12: What’s on the table for developing countries and LDCs” by Kinda Mohamadieh and Ranja Sengupta, at https://twn.my/title2/briefing_papers/twn/WTO%20MC12%20TWNBP%20Apr%202022%20KM&RS.pdf With
